The Joyner Foundation allocated $3000 local families and causes over the 2017 holiday season. The Foundation Board decided to give each office $1000, and let the employees and agents in that office decide who the money would go to.

The Enterprise office donated $1000 to Connor’s Heroes, a local charity that gives support and companionship to children in cancer treatment and their families. Connor’s Heroes chose a family of 4, and the Enterprise office shopped and wrapped clothes and toys for each of the three children, and provided the mother with extra money for groceries and gas.

The Maple office donated $500 to in clothing and toys to a family identified through the Peter Paul Development Center. The mission of this center it to support the residents of the East End and educate its students, equipping them to serve as positive contributors to their family, community and society.

The also donated $500 in clothing, toys and blankets to Housing Families First. The mission of Housing Families First is to provide families experiencing homelessness with the tools to achieve housing stability. The goal is not only to assist families in finding permanent housing, but also to ensure that each family has access to the supportive services necessary to sustain housing in the long run

The Westchester office donated $500 in clothing and toys to the Ronald McDonald – Richmond. RMHC Richmond is an independent, non-profit chapter of Ronald McDonald House Charities. They provide a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families who are being treated in Richmond area hospitals. The office also donated $500 in clothing, toys and blankets to Housing Families First.
